What to Expect
What is a “guided” yoga class?
In a guided yoga class, the teacher leads you from pose to pose throughout your entire practice. Your SOL teacher is there to help refine your practice. That could be lengthening your standing positions, helping with posture or adding modifications to your poses.
How does SOL compare with other LifePower formats?
SOL is a class you can always come back to and refine your practice . As a format it’s similar to FLOW, but instead of 30 minutes of free flowing in and out poses on your own, you’ll have guidance from your teacher throughout the class. In progression, it’s the next step after ROOT, adding to the fundamentals and furthering your practice in yoga.
What should I wear?
In any case with Yoga, attire that can flex and stretch is always recommended, but whatever you feel comfortable in.
What should I bring?
A water bottle and towel. All other equipment will be provided by the club.
What equipment will we be using?
The only equipment necessary for this class is a yoga mat.
Can I bring a friend?
Please do. It’s a member and non-member event. We just ask that all guests are 18+ of age or older and will need a valid ID when attending. Non-members register through the “Non-Member Reservation” button on this page, and upon arrival, will be required to sign in to the club via the Electronic Guest Registry.
Where do we meet for this event?
Varies from club to club depending on space and reservations.
