Fire is a fusion of high-intensity interval training and yoga. High-intensity interval training is 30 seconds of hard work followed by 30 seconds of rest.
The benefit is to get your heart rate up, to burn fat, and to get an awesome sweat. We then bring in the yoga to move all of the lactic acid that has a tendency to build up in our body. We'll hold the postures for three or four little breaths until we move on and we do the high-intensity interval training again. The two come together and they center around simply the breath.
When you walk into Fire, you're going to experience something completely new. You're going to walk in, and the music's going to be gritty and pumping. And you're going to realize you're not in the same yoga studio that you were in before. If you have one hour in your day, this class is made for you.
