About Me

I've played sports since the age of 5 and have always loved to be active! I played Varsity soccer at James Madison University, and was introduced to a strength training program there during my tenure. I fell in love with lifting! I got a Nutrition degree because I wanted a solid nutrition background to be able to help my clients in the most efficient way possible. Plus I love to eat :) I'm a new mom to a son, and am passionate about helping women with their heath and fitness goals during and after pregnancy, as well as helping parents achieve their goals for themselves and their family members. You will still find me working out in the gym almost every day, and I can't wait to introduce my son to sports and lifting one day!

Natalie Freesmeier is the best! She has been my personal trainer for the past four years. Natalie and I started our relationship with her as my nutrition coach, then we segued into a training relationship. I like the progress we’ve made on increasing weights and combining strength training and cardio. With Natalie’s encouragement, I have succeeded where I would have quit on my own. Although physically tough, I do enjoy the Tabata training she mixes in our workouts. Learning “cleans” has been challenging, but fun. Bottom line is that I always enjoy working out with Natalie. I am thankful for her bringing me this far. I never would have thought I’d be successfully strength training and actually running a quarter mile at age 65!
