About Me

I am a former Professional Ballerina who started doing Pilates at the age of 12 as part of my ballet cross training. I found Pilates to be an invaluable resource for injury prevention, recovery and strengthening. Fitness was a seamless transition after retiring from ballet, after years of beating up my body it was time for some TLC. I am passionate about helping people feel better through creating healthy habits that will last a lifetime. I continue to challenge myself by expanding my knowledge to further help my clients the best I can. As a certified Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Metabolic Technician, and NKT (Neurokinetic Therapy) Practitioner, I love to create personalized programs that fit the needs of each individual person. If you want to be stronger, more mobile, and have less pain so that you can go out and enjoy all the things you love to do in life, then I'm your girl!

After having back surgery in July of 2019, my doctor recommended Pilates as a suitable exercise. I met Lifetime Fitness Pilates instructor Samantha Chang in October of 2019. What a blessing she has been. I have been receiving personal instruction from Sam 2 to 3 times weekly since our first meeting. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, very encouraging during workouts and able to adapt various exercises to each individuals specific needs. Although I've had numerous pilates trainers over the last twelve years, I've never had a trainer as knowledgable, understanding, organized and intuitive as Samantha Chang. I started Pilates in June 2018 for the first time in four years and for the first time at LifeTime. My historical experience was that when I started Pilates I would see immediate results and feel stronger than ever. While I did start to feel stronger and see results quickly, they weren’t the results I wanted. I needed faster, quicker, better results. I mentioned something to Sam, the amazing Pilates instructor, and she asked about my eating habits. While not awful, I wasn’t exactly proud of my eating habits and knew something had to change. She suggested the detox program. While I was a little hesitant and thought I could conquer any goal without a diet change - I promptly went down to the life cafe and bought the detox kit. That moment was the start of a life style change. Within four weeks I had lost over 10 pounds and just about 1% body fat. It was amazing. I’ve never looked or felt better. I feel clean, I feel healthy, I have more energy, no more bloating/inflammation and I don’t have any cravings for any of the unhealthy snacks that easily snuck into my diet before. The shakes are great and fulfill any cravings. I have continued to keep the weight off and enjoy the new life style 6 weeks later - with the help of Pilates keeping me strong and toned. My husband is also benefiting by simply being around a more clean eating lifestyle.
