Notice: Updates to Medicare Memberships Effective January 1, 2024
Following negotiations with Medicare Fitness Program Administrators, changes will take effect for memberships at the start of the new year. As a valued Life Time member, we want to ensure you have notice of these changes in accordance with the new agreement established with your provider.
What does the Life Time membership opportunity being extended by my Medicare Fitness Program Administrator include?
Life Time club access Monday through Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday 2:00 p.m. to close, and Sunday all open hours. Plus anytime access to ARORA Aqua classes with a reservation and arrival within 30 minutes of the scheduled class time.
When do these changes take effect?
These updates are effective January 1, 2024, for members holding a Life Time Medicare membership and/or upon activation of a new 65 Plus Membership.
Why is this change being implemented?
This change results from discussions with Medicare Fitness Program administrators and the rate they are paying on behalf of enrollees as of January 1, 2024. This solution was established to ensure participants in eligible Medicare programs continue to have the option to join Life Time and take part in our growing ARORA program offerings at rates that are significantly lower than current Life Time monthly dues.
Why are you including access to ARORA Aqua anytime, but not the same for all other ARORA classes?
ARORA Aqua is among our most popular classes. Because not all classes are able to be scheduled during the revised access hours, we have implemented this exception to ensure they remain available. Members may access their ARORA Aqua classes with advance registration and club arrival within 30 minutes of the scheduled class time.
What if I would like to continue visiting the club during other hours and/or wish to access other programming?
The Signature Membership upgrade option is available to you. It provides unlimited access during all club open hours along with other benefits, such as unlimited Small Group Training. Speak to the Member Concierge team at your club to learn more.
What happens if I visit the club outside of the revised access hours on January 1 or beyond?
Access hours are noted in our system for memberships and our team will inform you of this. If you have an ARORA Aqua reservation and it is within 30 minutes of the scheduled class time, you will have access to the class.
May I register for classes that begin at 3:00p.m. / What happens if I am at the club beyond 3:00 p.m.?
With the exception of ARORA Aqua classes, which are available to you anytime, you may register only for classes that begin within the revised club access hours (i.e., prior to 3:00 p.m.). Provided you have checked in at the club prior to 3:00 p.m., you may, however, remain for the duration of your workout / event / activity.
