What is a typical day like at camp?
While at Life Time camps, can my child(ren) participate in swim lessons and/or swim team?
Swim offerings vary by club, and some locations may offer fun swim only rather than swim lessons or swim team.
If swim time is included at your club, campers may have the option of swim lessons, swim team, and/or fun swim throughout the week. To properly place all children, they will complete a Swim Assessment. If your child does not pass our swim test, we will provide them with a life jacket.
Swim lessons or swim team (where offered) typically occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Mondays and Wednesdays may include fun swim time and pool games.
What are the camper to staff ratios?
Junior Camp: 1:6
School Age & Tween Camp on-site: 1:10
School Age & Tween Camp off-site: 1:7

What training do your Kids Camps counselors receive?
Being a Kids Camp team member entails a comprehensive screening and interview process, background check, and CPR and First Aid training. Additionally, our camp staff participates in behavior management and positive guidance training activities. Once certified, ongoing evaluations help ensure your child(ren) are being supervised and supported by trained and educated counselors to help ensure an overall superior and safe camp experience.
Does Life Time offer camp field trips?
Field trips vary by club and week, and not all locations offer off-site field trips. Some camps may include fun on-site “field trip” experiences instead. When offered, field trips are included in your camp fee and may be on- or off-site. Off-site trips include transportation by licensed providers and are subject to change. Field trip details and destinations (when applicable) can be found within the camp registration page for each individual week.
- All campers are required to wear their camp T-shirt (provided the day of their first field trip) for all off-site field trips.
What is the drop-off/pick-up process like?
You will receive club-specific details regarding drop-off and pick-up locations one week before camp begins.
At drop-off, a counselor will check-in your child(ren) and then escort them inside the club.
When picking up, you will need to show a government-issued ID. If anyone other than you will be picking up your child(ren) from camp throughout the summer, they need to be listed as an authorized pickup on your participation agreement and will also need to show an ID.
